     It is no longer necessary to purchase an expensive hinge insertion machine to complete quick, professional European-style hinge installations now that Woodworker's Supply has developed Euro-Eze^TM. This simple-to-use attachment mounts easily on most 10 to 21 inch drill presses and bores the three holes needed to mount Euro hinges (45 mm c/c Blum Pattern) in just one stroke. The patented design (U.S. Patent No. 6,244,793) adds a great deal of versatility to virtually all drill presses.
     The Euro-Eze drill head fits into ½ inch and larger chucks while the stabilizing arm quickly clamps and rolls smoothly along the drill press support post (2.34 to 3.625 inch diameter posts). The head has a built-in, adjustable chip guard and depth stop and is intended to be used with a sub-table and backing fence. The overall package includes the drilling head, rolling support bracket, guide posts, 10 mm bushings for 7/64 inch drill bits, wrench and instructions (bits are sold separately).
     By adding an Insertion Ram to the Euro-Eze it is possible to easily insert doweled hinges. The ram bolts onto the drill head and flips out of the way when not in use. An optional Tab Setting Jig ensures quick and easy set-ups and adjusts for tab measurements from 1 mm to 12 mm.
